Solar park Emmen – Pottendijk

Solar park Emmen – Pottendijk

The E-circuit Emmen – Pottendijk, located on the former drift track Test Track Thedinga, has been completed and supplies its energy to the electricity network. At the circuit, a carport system has been built which provides space for 240 vehicles. At the beginning of 2021, a 60 kW fast charging point was realized, allowing the residents of Emmen and the surrounding area to charge directly on solar energy. The goal is to realize the world’s most sustainable E-circuit. The student teams Electric Superbike Twente and Green Team Twente also use the E-circuit for their test races. It is the first project that PowerField has developed and built completely itself.
