Solar park Veendam

A solar park of 16 MWp has been built on the former septic drain fields intended for industrial estate, providing sustainable energy for 4.300 households. The contaminated land was unsuitable for agricultural use and has found a new purpose in solar energy. PowerField started the project at the beginning of 2015, and the Veendam solar park was opened in 2018.
