The agreement supports the Volkswagen Group’s broader climate strategy by reducing the carbon footprint of its operations and the future energy consumption of its growing electric vehicle (EV) fleet.

Under the agreement, PowerField supplies GoOs to VWK over a period of ten years. The GoOs originate from multiple solar parks owned by PowerField in the Netherlands, with a combined capacity of nearly 100 MWp.

“We are proud that our Dutch solar energy production contributes to the sustainability efforts of VWK,” says Eelco Rondhuis, Head of Energy Management at PowerField. “GoOs play a crucial role in making sustainability progress transparent and verifiable. The agreement with VWK is a strong example of cross-border collaboration to accelerate Europe’s energy transition.”
