PowerGo installs green charging stations at holiday parks TopParken

TopParken has entered into a partnership with PowerGo. TopParken’s 12 holiday parks will be equipped with charging stations for electric cars. These supply green energy from the solar parks of PowerField, the parent company of PowerGo. Last week, the first charging stations were put into operation at Resort Veluwe.

The collaboration came about after TopParken was looking for a party to install charging stations. After only a few talks, the cooperation contract was signed. The first (fast) charging stations have now been put into use at Resort Veluwe in Garderen and the other holiday parks will follow in the coming months. In addition to Resort Veluwe, Landgoed de Scheleberg will also be equipped with a 60kW fast charging station, with which electric cars can be charged in no time.
TopParken’s 12 holiday parks are located throughout the Netherlands. “In order to welcome guests from all over the country to our parks and to keep up with current developments, it is very important to offer this service at our holiday parks”, says Frank Bolderman, operational manager at TopParken. He continues: “The fact that PowerGo supplies green, clean energy made us decide to partner up with them. In this way, we not only optimize the customer journey, but we also contribute to a sustainable world.”
