In 2020, the municipality of Oss granted a permit for Solar Park De Mun to NRG2all. PowerField took over of the project in 2024. The solar park is expected to start generating electricity this summer.

The solar park is being developed next to a business park and between two nature areas. The landscaping plan was created in collaboration with Stichting Landschapsbeheer Oss, a local organisation that preserves, restores and strengthens the ecological and scenic value of the local landscape. Due to gas pipelines in the ground, the solar park is divided into two sections. Grass and flowering plants will be sown between the solar panels, which will have a positive impact on biodiversity. Trees and shrubs will be planted along the edges of the solar park, creating a greener appearance and reducing the visual impact from the surrounding area.

Solar Park De Mun is one of seven solar parks that PowerField is developing this year. Three of these are located in the province of North Brabant. Solar Park Boxmeer was commissioned in April, and Solar Park Sambeeksedijk is set to follow soon. Several other projects are also in development, as part of PowerField’s integrated approach to supporting a stable, sustainable and future-proof energy system in the Netherlands.
