Solar Park De Mun commissioned

In 2020, the municipality of Oss granted a permit for Solar Park De Mun to NRG2all. PowerField took over the project in 2024, and construction began in spring 2025. Since this summer, the solar park has been generating electricity. 

In balance with the environment

Solar Park De Mun is situated next to a business park and lies between two nature reserves. The landscaping plan was developed in cooperation with Stichting Landschapsbeheer Oss, a local organisation that preserves, restores and strengthens the ecological and scenic value of the local landscape. 

The solar park is built over gas pipelines, which largely determine its layout and split the project into two sections. The solar panels are installed facing south, allowing light and water to reach the soil, which benefits local biodiversity. 

As part of its site management, PowerField lets sheep graze on the solar park, creating a safe habitat rich in food while also improving soil quality and supporting local biodiversity. 

Shrubs and trees are being planted along the edges of the solar park. This will create a greener appearance and reduce its visibility from the surrounding area.
